Million pockets jeans

Dysto asked me if I have jeans with enough pockets. I told him to wait a while, took all the leftover pockets from Loose and Lo(o)ser fit jeans, and sew them together. I named these Million pockets jeans. So are there enough pockets, what do you think?

Vihree kala shirt used to be men's blouse, which was worn out from the collar. I changed the collar and Vihree kalanized the blouse a bit by dyeing and stuff, so voilá, cool shirt is reborn!

What happened to the fish?

Lot of things. I think no one wants to read all the things what have happened, so let's tell everything with pictures.

We had Helsinki-Berlin ending party for the pop-up

#THEMACHINE waited patiently for the djs, but was abandoned in the corner :(

Next evening it was time to take everything off..

and say goodbyes for the pop-up!

Minions

The crazy minions, always together, one ends the sentence other started. Nobody knows if they are siblings, twins, friends or lovers. Always teasing and hating, but somehow still attracted to each other. You tell me the relationship of these two!

Our minions wear Million pieces jeans, Hide and Seek vest Million Pieces style and Seam Stress headband. For Million pieces I use the fabric waste from the other Vihree kala products. Seam Stress headband is made out of the side seams of jeans. Pretty recycled, eh?

Vihree kala Grand Opening photo stream

The cool side characters

Why the side characters look more interesting than the main ones? Every cosplayer have faced this thing. The cool side characters mostly appear as twins or at least with the same kind of clothes. Our cool side characters wear recycled material and hand dyed Vihree kala tops and Loose fit jeans with T-cross pattern.

Pop-up store and so much fishing

As you may have noticed in Vihree kala's other social media, I'm going to open a pop-up store in Helsinki! This thing escalated very fast as big things usual. First my friend called me and told me about this opportunity. I called the owner and visited the store, waited a while in excitement and suddenly, my first pop-up store!

This is just crazy. I've been amazingly busy for a month, but FINALLY because of fishing! We have had already two new photo shoots for new products and we will have more next week! I have made countless samples of Vihree kala caps, to make them look good. Wish me luck! I'm close to succeed!

There's so many things I would like to do before the grand opening, but there's only one me. We will have opening in 4.6.2015, more info about that later!

In the shop you will find also products from HOOD, House of Defender. Hood makes clothes from old clothes, for example men's blouses and trousers. "Clothes and accessories with a wasted past". In HOOD's clothes you can see item's life before, but still it's somehow totally new. I love her style!

There are also Freia design's jewellery in the shop. She makes light and beautiful earrings and necklaces from recycled materials. Even my sensitive ears can handle those! Even though the earrings are light, they are pretentious enough for me..
